Heather

Registered Dental Assistant

Heather has been with the office since 1996, beginning with Dr Besaw and staying on when Dr Mallais took over the practice in 2015. She grew up in Bay City and graduated from Delta College with her Registered Dental Assistant Degree.

In her spare time Heather enjoys spending time with her 3 adult sons,husband, and dog Lou. She also enjoys Camping, Walking, and Friday night carbs and cocktails with her husband.

Heather's favorite part about her job is helping people feel at ease and working with Dr Mallais. 

Cindy

Registered Dental Assistant

Cindy has been with the office since June 2023. She grew up in Bay city and graduated from Delta College with her Registered dental Assistant Degree.

In her spare time Cindy enjoys spending time with her family and her soon to be 2 grandchildren. She also enjoys baking, working in the yard, tending to her flowers, and watching sports. 

Cindy's favorite part about her job is working with patients and developing lasting relationships.

Jessica

Dental Assistant/Front Desk

Jessica has been with the office since November 2022. She grew up in Munger and is finishing up her degree in Business Management at Delta College. Jessica has been in the dental field for 10+ years bringing Assisting, Management, and Insurance Billing experience. 

In her spare time Jessica enjoys spending time with her husband, son Kane, and dog Kix. She also enjoys eating guacamole, drinking margaritas, ranger rides, and enjoying the Potato Festival every July.

Jessica's favorite part about her job is seeing patients smile when they leave and achieve their treatment goals. 

Shirley

Dental Assistant/Front Desk

Shirley has been with the office since 1980, beginning with Dr Besaw and staying on when Dr Mallais took over in 2015. Shirley's hometown is St. Ingbert Saarland, Germany and she graduated from Delta College with a degree in Dental Assisting. She brings an incredible amount of insurance billing knowledge to the practice, and can often be found helping patients understand and achieve the best treatment plan for them.

In her spare time Shirley enjoys spending time with her 2 adult children and 3 beautiful grandchildren. She also loves to cook, craft, and listen to BTS as well as watch chinese soap operas.

Shirley's favorite part about her job is interacting with and helping patients with all aspects of their dental care, and helping them achieve their perfect smile. 

Ashley

Registered Dental Hygienist

Ashley has been with the office since 2017. She grew up in Essexville and graduated from Delta College with her Registered Dental Hygienist Degree.

Ashley enjoys spending time with her 4 children Dain, Luke, Jack, and Hope, and her husband. She also enjoys helping out at school, camping, and exploring Northern Michigan including the wineries in Traverse City.

Ashley's favorite part about her job is seeing improvement in patients oral health and developing mutual trust and friendships with her patients. 

Kerri

Registered Dental Hygienist

Kerri has been part of the team since 2010, beginning with Dr Besaw and staying on when Dr Mallais took over the practice in 2015. She grew up in Quanicassee and graduated from Ferris State University with her Registered Dental Hygienist Degree.

Kerri enjoys spending time with her 2 children Hayley and Easton, and Husband. She also enjoys gardening, photography, deer hunting, fishing, and boating. 

Kerri's favorite part about her job is the bond she develops with her patients and trust they have in their patient care.

Rachel

Registered Dental Hygienist

Rachel has been with the office since 2020. She grew up in Bay city and graduated from Delta College with her Registered Dental Hygienist Degree.

Rachel enjoys spending time with her husband and their blended family of 4 children Katie, Luke, Max, and Lynae, She also enjoys spending time with her cat and their crazy yellow lab, going to concerts, and a cold PBR.

Rachel's favorite part about her job is helping patients achieve good oral health habits and getting to know each patient and their families.

Teddy

Office Mascot

Teddy has been with the family since 2021.

He enjoys chasing birds, cats, and eating treats. As well as loving on his amazing family.
